The National Network to End Domestic Violence is a national organization who hopes to put an end to domestic violence for good. Its spokesperson  Victor Rivas Rivers tells a heart wrenching personal story of abuse when he was a boy and how the local police took no action and said that it was a private family matter and that he should just go home.
