| Contemporary Forums is pleased to announce and invite you to a new, cutting-edge forensic educational event. The inaugural Forensic Trends: Psychiatric & Behavioral Issues conference, presented in collaboration with the American Institute of Forensic Education (AIFE), is offered in light of the current barometer of interpersonal violence and crime in the United States, as well as globally. This conference directly responds to examination and identification of those trends in the medico-legal arena which continue to evolve at an exponential rate. As a result, it is critical to not only remain familiar with the foundations of forensic practice within a variety of settings, but to also explore new and innovative approaches to the many challenges this field presents.
Specifically, conference presentations will explore issues of forensic assessment of behavior, interventions and ongoing technological advancements that enhance comprehensive analysis and contributions to both the law enforcement and judicial facets of work with offenders and survivors. The program will examine concerns that are vitally important in order to secure the best possible legal and therapeutic outcomes. Bring your questions and take part in thought-provoking discussions in an environment conducive to both learning and thinking outside the box. Highlights of the 2008 conference include: |
