The Forensic Nurse

Officials in California are scrambling to respond to scathing revelations about convicted sex offenders living in the homes of licensed day care centers as well as in foster family homes.

 California state auditors discovered the anomalies when reviewing the records for the 75,000 licensed facilities throughout the state. State social services director John Wagner confirmed that 49 registered sex offenders addresses matched with 46 child care facilities.

Do date only three license suspensions have been issued as state authorities attempt to verify if indeed the addresses on file are indeed intersecting.
