The Forensic Nurse

The mission of the National Forensic Nursing Institute, Inc. (NFNI) is to provide education for professionals at every level in the comprehensive treatment of patients with legal needs and educate the community about the usefulness of forensic nurses. Additionally provide program support and services to communities where forensic nursing can improve the communities’ response to violence, create employment opportunities for forensic nurses, develop solutions for forensic nursing practice issues, and contribute to the body of knowledge through research projects in forensic nursing. The National Forensic Nursing Institute, Inc. is dedicated to collaboration with other disciplines to make the world a better place.
